Welcome to Knox

We are a worshipping community choosing to express our faith in God through self-giving love.
Knox Presbyterian Church is a community of rich history and authentic connection.
Since our founding in the late 1880s, our commitment has been to give everyone a place where they can belong and know the grace and peace of Jesus Christ. The 100-year-old building we occupy at the corner of Knox and Post streets in Spokane’s North Central neighborhood serves as a home base, but we believe God’s people are at our best when we exist for the sake of others, faithfully serving our community and following the ways of Jesus.
Whoever you are, and from wherever you come, you are created in the image of God.
Part of belonging is also belonging to the shared ministry of our community. Much like a body with all of its parts, we do things together at Knox. Rather than rely on hierarchy to do the work God has called us to do-- in our church, in our city, and in our world -- we regard one another as God sees us and collaborate with the Spirit and each other to discern the ways we are called to express our faith in God through self-giving love. Everyone is a leader here, and everyone has a place in our shared ministry model.
