This is where you need to be if you're interested in listening to or downloading audio of the Knox worship services and other special events. In the future we'll be serving up video, also. But, for now we'll just have to settle for audio. So, browse the lists and listen to your heart's content! The files are displayed in a descending sort (newest at the top) by date. We hope the recordings minister to your heart.
This page utilizes Adobe Flash. If Flash is not installed on your computer, or has been disabled, you will not be able to hear any sound—the player's controls will not be visible.
If desired, you can find a particular date or presenter by using your browser's search (find) tool. The shortcut key combination, <Ctrl> + <F> usually will bring up the search tool. When the first occurrence is found, just press your <F3> key to see if there is another occurrence that meets your search criterion, and so on.
The audio archives
This Recorded Services portal page is used to display only the "current" audio files. For now, "current" is defined as the current calendar year. This may be adjusted in the future as we monitor site performance. If you desire to listen to audio from some other year, go to the audio archives list and select an archive year.
Beginning with the March 10, 2013 service, we began making available the accompanying bulletins. In order to accomplish this, we have included bare bones versions of the church bulletins, that is versions without any graphics or announcements or other church business—only the worship service portion of the bulletin. This is done for two reasons: (1) it makes the file a lot smaller, so that the document download can be accomplished faster, and (2) by not including all the other more personal information and announcements, we can make the bulletins freely available to the general public.
In a time crunch?
If you're a bit strapped for time, then we have a solution. We have extracted the messages from the full worship services and placed them in their own spot, so that they can be listened to separately. They are still part of the full worship service audio, so if you choose to listen to that, you'll still be able to hear the message there, too.
