Karen Colvin - Church Administrator
Karen grew up spending time in church offices – her father was a Presbyterian minister. As newlyweds, she and her husband, Dave, were members at Knox in the late 1980's. After spending 21 years as an active duty military family, they returned to Spokane with their four sons and searched for 8 months to find the right church to call home. God brought them full circle back to Knox.
The Knox family welcomed us unconditionally and with open arms. The Shared Ministry model allows us to act on our faith within smaller teams by using our own unique gifts. This makes us a community of “team players” here at Knox! Everyone is important; each person is known and valued.
Rev. Don Meekhof - Temporary Supply Pastor
Knox is truly blessed to have Don and Laverne as part of the Knox family. Rev. Meekhof regularly participates in worship, administers the sacraments, and preaches at least once a month. He leads a vibrant and informative men's bible study and faithfully visits those in our family who are ill or physically unable to attend worship. His is truly a ministry borne of selfless devotion.
In Don's words: I am a grateful and excited follower of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. God has blessed me with a wonderful wife, Laverne, and three outstanding grown children: Christie, married to Kevin Hand in West Virginia; John, married to Sarah in Virginia; and Marla, married to Luke Hyder in Illinois. We have 8 grandchildren. I have been in the ministry for over 50 years serving four dynamic Presbyterian Churches. The most recent full time service was for 14 years at the First Presbyterian Church of Spokane. I am grateful to God, to the Session and to the Presbytery to be asked to be the Temporary Supply Pastor of Knox Presbyterian Church."

(2) Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever. -Gandhi
(3) The history of liberty is a history of the limitation of government power, not the increase of it. -Woodrow Wilson, 28th president of the U.S., Nobel peace prize winner (1856-1924)
Carole Stuart - Director of Choir Ministry
Carole Stuart, Director of Choir Ministry needs no introduction to Knox's community of faith! She has been a member of Knox since 1985, faithfully serving with her musical talent at the piano, co-directing the bell choir and participating with our praise team and choir. When Knox first began to discuss ways of beginning a search for our new Director of Choir Ministry, Carole volunteered to serve until we determined how we would proceed. As we watched her interact with both choir members and congregation it quickly became apparent that God was leading us to begin our search "in-house".
Carole has deepening love for choir music. She believes well-written sacred music often articulates deeply held personal feelings that helps give "wings to words". Carole hopes that our congregation will sense this presence of the Holy Spirit and listen with our hearts, as the choir brings us to a deep place in worship.
